Why Foster?

Fostering is a rewarding experience that allows you to help make a real difference in the lives of kittens, pregnant cats, and cat moms with their litters. These animals just need a safe, calm environment where they can grow, play, and develop their personalities. For Abandoned Kittens:
Kittens that need fostering are typically very young and require a little extra care to grow healthy and strong. They often need bottle feeding, socialization, and a lot of attention in their first few weeks. By fostering these little ones, you’ll be helping them develop into well-adjusted, playful kittens that are ready to find their forever homes.

For Pregnant Cats:
Pregnant cats can often be found in need of a calm, safe space to rest and prepare for the arrival of their kittens. As a foster, you’re providing that space and comfort so they can settle in and focus on their pregnancy. You’ll give her a quiet place to relax, and she’ll do the majority of the work once her kittens arrive, leaving you to enjoy watching the magic of motherhood unfold.

For Cat Moms & Their Kittens:
Mother cats are natural caregivers, and they do most of the work for the first 4-6 weeks. Your role as a foster is simple: provide a cozy, safe environment where the mom and her kittens can thrive. You’ll watch the kittens grow, play, and start to explore their surroundings, all while mom takes great care of them. It’s a beautiful process to witness as you help prepare them for adoption.
