About Us

WHO WE ARE

Providing Animals with Support (PAWS) is a local nonprofit 501(c)(3) dog and cat rescue that has proudly served Southern Utah for over 24 years. We are deeply committed to helping our local community by saving thousands of homeless animals throughout the years. PAWS relies solely on private monetary donations—we are not affiliated with any national organization and receive no government funding.

OUR MISSION

We rescue cats and dogs of all ages, including pregnant mamas, puppies, kittens, seniors, and animals in urgent need of medical care and rehoming. PAWS proudly operates as a medical rescue, stepping in for animals who are sick, injured, or require specialized treatment and rehabilitation.

Our first priority is assisting overcrowded and high-risk shelters, including kill shelters. When space allows, we also help members of the public rehome pets they can no longer keep. If there is a homeless animal in need and we have the ability to help, we will always step up.

The heart of PAWS is our Rescue Squad Volunteers. Their dedication, compassion, and unwavering love for our animals is what keeps our mission alive and thriving.
