Volunteer

We are a volunteer-based organization that relies on our volunteer teams to care for animals, work at our thrift store, run adoptions, perform medical care for animals, walk dogs, do office work and everything else you can think of. To volunteer with the PAWS Rescue Squad, submit a volunteer application and help save homeless animals.

Volunteering at PAWS Adoption Center is more than lending a helping hand — it’s becoming part of a compassionate community dedicated to giving animals a second chance.

As a volunteer, you’ll play a direct role in changing lives. Whether you’re walking dogs, socializing cats, helping with adoption events, assisting with daily care, or supporting behind-the-scenes tasks, every hour you give creates a safer, happier environment for animals waiting for their forever homes.

No special experience is required — just a heart for animals and a willingness to show up. Flexible opportunities make it easy to get involved, whether you can give a few hours a week or help at special events.
